Resolution Opposing Implementation of Ranked Choice Voting (RCV)

In Michigan, there is a new 2025 ballot petition initiative that would seek to destroy the one vote per voter system as we know it with a much more complex and costly system that essentially drives into impossibility a human led effort to recount votes and relies solely on computer algorithms to break possible ties.

In our effort as one of the most important districts in the state with a rising conservative vote, as demonstrated in 2024 over the 2020 and 2016 presidential elections, we anticipate the need to inform voters in our district of our counter efforts to defeat this ballot petition initiative.
